Welcome to the website of the Chinese artist, Lifang

(Also known as Lee Fang, Lee Fang Chih or Li Fangzhi)

The web site is dedicated to the artwork of Lifang (Li FangZhi), specifically to her watercolors and canvas paintings. This site is designed to provide you with an opportunity to see each painting, to move from one work as in a museum and to learn something about Lifang (see articles “review“). The presentation of each painting includes a description. One may also take a tour by simply clicking on the “next” button on each page.

Her works are owned by museums in China and abroad, for example the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum M + in Hong Kong West Kowloon, the Museo Etnografico della Valle di Muggio in Switzerland. She worked and lived for 50 years (1965-2015) in Castel San Pietro,Ticino Switzerland. Beside painting she practiced Tai Chi Ch’uan. She was married with the Swiss artist Hans Brun (1939-2013). Lifang passed away in Sorengo Switzerland on 19^th December 2020.
